Nice pix. Sadly, I have not had much luck with getting photos of blue jays.

Thank you :) I'm Just lucky I guess, lol. It seems like all the photos I have taken of animals they sit long enough and pose for me. Must be cause I sit there for a few hours, so they get use to me.

Thank you :) I took 25 photos of the Blue Jay, just to get a few good shots.
Plus it takes time. I sat outside in the cold for a couple of hours to get photos of them.

So soon as I see one and go out with my camera it disappears. They seem very skittish when it comes to having people around, unlike the chickadees which are fearless.

Yeah. If you have time and it's not too cold out, just sit outside with your camera all ready. Don't forget peanuts, lol.

They do love peanuts. It's fun watching the greedy buggers trying to pick up more than one at a time.

Yes they do. I had a good shot of a Blue Jay today, but I didn't have my camera with me at the time, lol.
